After graduation from the New School in New York, Tanka worked in the Gramercy Park Flower Shp and eventually moved to the Princeton area where she opened her own business. Pensive Weeds LLC has been operating in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 2004, installing original designs, maintaining established perennial gardens and providing innovative floral design concepts for weddings, events and all other occasions, including everyday flowers.
